Terms of Service
Last updated: May 5, 2026
By using Elia, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of a U.S. state where Elia’s clinicians are licensed (see Trust & safety). The symptom-pattern review is for adults whose symptoms generally fall within midlife and urogenital care.
Nature of the service
Elia provides telemedicine evaluation and clinician-reviewed care plans through licensed clinicians. The site and review do not constitute medical advice on their own. A care decision is made by a licensed clinician in a clinician-patient relationship that begins only after you book a visit and the clinician accepts you as a patient.
The service is not a replacement for emergency care. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. If you are experiencing thoughts of self-harm, call 988.
Telemedicine consent
Use of clinical services on Elia requires your separate consent to telemedicine care. See our Telehealth informed consent.
Payments and refunds
The symptom-pattern review is offered at no charge. Visit fees and other clinician-recommended care, where applicable, are itemized at the point of booking. See our Refund policy.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misrepresent your identity, location, or medical history; not to use the service to obtain care for someone other than yourself unless lawfully permitted; and not to interfere with the operation of the site.
Intellectual property
The Elia name, logo, copy, and visual design are the property of Avenor Health, Inc. The Elia name is currently a working name pending trademark clearance.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, Avenor Health, Inc. disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Avenor Health’s aggregate liability for claims arising from your use of the site is limited to the amount you have paid Elia in the 12 months prior to the claim.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, except for medical-licensure and patient-rights matters, which are governed by the law of your state of residence.
